Summer Mission Week
June 2023
Academy Jr. High and High students spent a week of their summer in service to those in need within the greater Nashville area through SLAM. Students also had impactful times of worship and bible teaching with loads of fun packed in throughout the week. We pray these formative experiences make a lasting impact on our students for Jesus!
Graduation

The Academy Class of 2023 celebrated their commencement, and it was a powerful ceremony. Hearing their stories and testimonies of faith that characterized their years at the Academy were impactful and inspirational. Congratulations to our Class of 2023. We wish you the best in your next season with the Lord!
Field Day
May 2023
Field Day is a celebratory end of the year event where the morning is characterized by competition, teamwork, and fun for one final day together. Teams are comprised of students from all levels and energy is high. This year, our event sponsor, Hopewell Family Care, provided 10,000 water balloons to make the day extra special… and wet!
Grandparent’s Day
November 2022
We’re blessed to host over 80 grandparents on our campus for one the most special events of the school year. This year’s theme was A Celebration of Nations, and students turned their school into a cultural experience for our guests with games, food, and decor. Thank you for all your support, Academy Grandparents!
Graduation

We’re proud of our 2022 Academy for G.O.D. graduates. Both Gabriella Lasater and Jones Warren have been exemplary students at the Academy in areas of leadership, academics, athletics and service. We’re praying for them as they move into this next season of life in their walk with the Lord.
Field Day

The final day of the school year is focused on teamwork, strategy, and good times through our annual field day competitions. The students bring their all as teams are comprised off all ages to face off in a variety of sports and games. A year-end highlight indeed! Watch the highlight reel HERE.

Each year, we host a culminating event to close out our school year with all our students and their families. This year, Celebration Night was a dinner, a student showcase of original projects and creations, and an awards ceremony. So many smiles all around as we got to put our students’ hard work from this school year on display!

It’s a highlight of the year: banquet night! Rising 7th graders, jr high, and high school students have the opportunity to dress up and come together for a meal, dancing, and unforgettable fun. This year’s banquet theme was 'Growth’, chosen by our Student Council, to highlight all the ways the students have grown together this past school year as students, classmates, and friends. So much to celebrate!
STEM Fair

44 elementary participants confidently presented their projects to teams of judges and event attendees at this month’s STEM Fair. We are so proud of each student and the growth and learning that took place throughout this process. Making consideration for STEM related endeavors as God’s kids is an important value to the Academy and we are thankful to all those who took the opportunity to put in the work.

It’s one of our favorite times of year at the Academy: the start of spring soccer! To kick off the new season, Academy families and friends were invited out for the afternoon to meet the players and see both the middle and high school team scrimmage. We’re looking forward to a great season - Go Phoenix!

Seeing our students performing a skill with confidence that they enjoy is a highlight of our semester. This year’s Academy’s Got Talent was full of laughter, passion, and heart-warming acts. We’re so proud of each of the 60 participants!
STEM Fair

The 7th-12th grade students showcased a variety of original STEM projects. Our judges were met with a challenging task to determine a winner. Each contestant was well-prepared and demonstrated lessons and knowledge gained from their STEM courses. Great work, students!
Grandparents Autumn Social

We love hosting our students’ grandparents! They are some of our best visitors and faithful supporters. This year’s autumn social was filled with crafts, food, and lots of smiles all around. Thank you for joining us, Academy Grandparents!
Field Day

It’s the day everyone talks about all year long, and we were excited to bring it back for our students on their final day of school this year! A morning of competitions involving teamwork, creativity, and so much fun is how we ended the 2020-2021 school year. Read more about the special day on our blog!
Performance Night
May 2021
During one of the final weeks of school, each class had the opportunity to showcase an act they had been working on throughout the school year. Students not only participated on stage but also in set design, costume creation, sound and tech, and more. A beautiful demonstration of who we are as the Academy student body was on display!
STEM Fair

Implementing the scientific experiment and putting together projects and presentations related to technology, engineering, and math, over 50 students participated in our first ever STEM Fair!
Talent Show

In honor of our Legacy Campaign and their grandparents, 23 student acts took the stage ranging from original songs and dances to comedy and martial arts. The night was about legacy, and our students were able to showcase just that - the talents and gifts passed down to them so that they may bless others!
Scholastic Book Fair

This year’s Book Fair with Scholastic Books was a hit among our Academy families and students! Seeing our students excited to read while also exploring new authors and genres is so special!
Arcola Winter Retreat
January 2020
Preparing to enter a rigorous spring semester, our Jr High and High students headed up to Arcola, IL to meet up with other Christian youth and spend concentrated time in worship, prayer, Bible studies and fellowship. This time was facilitated by a passionate team of Academy faculty, staff, and parent volunteers.
Grandparent’s Day
November 27, 2019
With over 100 of our students’ grandparents in attendance, this year’s Grandparent’s Day was a blast! We transformed our school to host a fall festival, themed “Fall in the Halls.” Students and grandparents played games, created crafts, enjoyed cider and storytelling, and then capped the day off with a meal together. What a blessing our students’ grandparents are in their lives!
Talent Show

We love seeing our students showcase their talents! Each year our parents and staff are blown away by the gifts and abilities each student brings to the stage at the talent show. This year’s first place winner was a rock band comprised of 3 junior high students. Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s school talent show!
Adventure Science Center Field Trip
December 5, 2019
Each student takes at least one field trip per semester at the Academy. This fall, General level students visited the Adventure Science Center in Nashville, exploring some of the concepts of energy and body movement they have covered in their STEM courses. Thanks to one of our chaperone dads for putting this highlight video together!
Spring Banquet

Each spring, we celebrate the close of the school year together at our spring banquets. With “A Kingdom of Friends” as this year’s theme, students gathered for a meal, worship, and some fun times of dance and laughter. How blessed are these students to have one another in their lives!
